Pet Policies

Pre-Register Pets

Please inform us when making your reservation if you'll be bringing a dog. Decided to bring your dog at the last minute? No worries! We can add them to your reservation in your pet friendly home.

Pet Rent

An additional charge of $30 per pet per night will be applied. This fee helps us ensure the home is properly cleaned for the next guest. Any cleaning or repairs beyond the norm will be billed separately.

Pet Etiquette

  • Ensure that your dog does not bark, growl, or intimidate other people in the vicinity.
  • Keep your pet on a leash at all times in public areas, as required by Big Bear Lake City ordinance.
  • Your pet should be under your control and by your side at all times.

Pets Inside the Home

Your pet(s) might find unfamiliar settings and sounds unsettling. Therefore, we firmly ask that you never leave your pet(s) unattended in the vacation rental or its yard, regardless of the duration.

Pet Clean-Up

Please bring your own pooper-scooper and ensure that there are no messes left in the yard or neighborhood.

Furniture and Beds

To maintain cleanliness, kindly keep your pets off furniture and beds. Feel free to bring your pet's favorite bed or blanket for them to lie on.

Accidents

If your pet has an accident, please inform us immediately so we can address the situation promptly!

Safety Tips in Big Bear:
  • Always leash your dog when out and about.
  • Provide a shady resting spot for your dog to avoid overheating.
  • Carry extra drinking water and a portable bowl if visiting areas without a natural water source.
